How to make your dog or cat not afraid of coming to the vet

Dog at the vet

A visit to the vet doesn't have to be a traumatic experience. At Albéitar, we work to ensure our patients feel at ease, but families can also help from home.

Some tips:

  • Get your dog or cat used to the carrier from a young age.
  • Use towels or blankets with his scent to make him feel safe.
  • Make visits without consultation, just so that you can see us and receive prizes.
  • Stay calm: if you're nervous, they will be too.

And above all, don't wait until you're sick to come in. Check-up visits help create a positive bond with the clinical environment.

Our goal is that, over time, the consultation will stop being scary and become something natural (or at least acceptable).
